The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, today inaugurated the new dining room of the School Our Lady of the Assumption, accompanied by the director of the center, Ana José Carrión, the councilor of Educational Centers, Pilar Martínez, and the councilor of Works and Services, Francisco González.
A first group of students has already enjoyed today the first menu, based on bolognese macaroni, tuna salad and fruit of the time.
The dining room has capacity for about 40-45 students and has been refurbished by reforming an old warehouse on the side of the sports court.
The work has been funded by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the City of Jumilla, which will be responsible for maintenance.
The menu has a cost of 4.14 euros and can also enjoy the same students from other centers.
For more information you have to contact the school itself.
Both the mayor and the director of the center have highlighted "the importance of the implementation of this service for how much it will contribute to family and work-life balance".
