The Department of Equality of the City of Jumilla has scheduled seven activities to commemorate the Women's Day (March 8), which have been presented this afternoon by the councilor of the area, Salvi Pérez and Equality agent, Paqui Ruiz.
They will begin next Monday, March 4 with a coffee-gathering at the Museo del Vino at 5:00 pm with the title 'Oral Tradition: Women's Stories'.
The following day, at the Food Market, the Network of Women's Associations will organize the activity 'Visibles: crafts and claims'.
On Wednesday, the 6th, at noon, the IV Series of Non-Sexist Stories 'Rompiendo Moldes' will be presented on Radio Jumilla with the participation of the Nuestra Señora de la Asunción Primary Education Center.
On Thursday, March 7, there will be a double session at the Teatro Vico.
At 10.00 am the narration of 'Las Colores' will be carried out, aimed at Primary Education centers.
At 8:30 p.m., the film 'A gender issue' will be screened with tickets for 3 euros for the benefit of the Red Cross Youth.
On Sunday 10 at 12:00 noon, the second edition of the 'Colors for Equality' race will take place, starting and finishing at the Market Square.
There are already about 150 registered, being able to make it effective in www.entradium.com.
The activities will end on Saturday the 16th with the performance 'Mujeres Compositoras' by the Chamber Orchestra of Almansa, at 8:00 pm in the Auditorium of the Conservatory of Music.
