The City of Jumilla has generated over the last three years a total of 584 temporary employment contracts through the implementation of more than twenty work exchanges, the Youth Guarantee System, the Local Employment Plan and the Program of Social Employment.
"Since we started our government responsibility, we were clear about our commitment to public employment and to ensure that a good number of citizens had the opportunity to work through the different programs and set up several job vacancies to cover casualties, vacations or excesses of work, all this has served, in addition, to give stability to employment and at the same time to all municipal services, "said the Councilor for Personal, Alfonso Pulido.
Among all the selective processes that have been carried out in the last three years, more than a thousand applicants have participated.
More than 18,000 hours in training
Likewise, the increase in the training of City Council employees has been constant over the last few years.
Of the 1,452 hours in 2015, it went to the 2,952 hours of 2016, tripling the amount in the following two years, reaching 6,937 hours in 2017 and 7,071 in the past year.
During this Thursday and Friday there are many municipal workers who will travel to Albacete to be trained before the next start-up of the electronic headquarters in the City of Jumilla.
