This week they have begun the rehabilitation works-replacement of the roof of the municipal building located in the Plaza de la Constitución, 10 which houses the headquarters of several local associations such as Aspajunide, Central Board of Holy Week Brotherhoods, Group of Choirs and Dances Francisco Salzillo and Peñas Federation of the Harvest Festival.
To date, the roof suffered water leaks every time it rains, which also cause moisture on the walls of the building.
The tile, the hurdle and some of the beams will be replaced.
The works are being carried out by the company José Verdú Navarro, with a cost of 24,691.88 euros based on the project carried out by GC Arquitectos, which is in charge of the management of the same.
This is one of the proposals selected in the Participatory Budgeting process 2018, specifically the second with the largest number of votes.
At the same time, renovation work is being carried out on the main entrance, whose pavement was becoming uneven due to the humidity and because it is located on an underground floor.
"This complementary action will be completed this week to interfere as little as possible in the normal use of the building," as pointed out by the Councilor for Works and Urban Planning, Francisco González.
