From February 14 to 16, the meeting of the board of directors and the general assembly of ACEVIN was held in La Palma del Condado (Huelva), in which the City of Jumilla holds the treasury.
The mayor, Juana Guardiola, and the Councilor for Agriculture, Juan Gil, have moved there, accompanied by the head of the Tourism Service, Ángel Pérez.
This meeting has analyzed the plan of actions of Routes of Wine in Spain and the collaboration agreement with the State Secretariat for Tourism planned for 2019, as well as the process of calling the contest for the European City of Wine 2020, in addition to presenting the new web of the association.
The web www.acevin.e sha has been completely renewed to offer a more modern, updated and attractive image, where information has been increased on the cities and towns that are part of ACEVIN, as well as including a special section with the agenda of activities related to the world of wine that are programmed in them throughout the year, where those that take place in Jumilla are being incorporated.
On the other hand, the certification of a new wine route has been approved.
This is the Toro, in the province of Zamora, With its inclusion, the brand Wine Routes of Spain already has 29 wine tourism destinations linked to other so many wine regions, among which is the Jumilla Wine Route.
