After the efforts made by the mayor of Jumilla, through the Government delegate in Murcia, with the Government of Spain and once known the commitment of the same to collaborate in financing the link of the A-33 with the road of the Carche, Juana Guardiola requested a meeting with the Minister of Development, Patricio Valverde.
The objective was to personally transfer their efforts and request the appropriate changes in the draft agreement, not yet approved by the City Council.
Given that the days passed and that the counselor's agenda does not allow that meeting, he has recently transferred to him in writing what he was going to propose in order to expedite and facilitate the drafting by the CARM of a new draft of the agreement, which would be the fourth, to sign between administrations.
The commitment of the Ministry of Development leads to the approach of the collaboration agreement to undertake these infrastructures is different from that reflected in the latest draft sent to the City of Jumilla.
"The commitment acquired by the Government of Spain must be included, it must be added the obligation on the part of the CARM to continue with the road settlement until the end of its stretch and, as for the land to be expropriated, the proposal of the mayor is to assume the CARM through the losses that occur in the awards of road improvement works and only subsidiary would assume the City Council, thus collaborating with the competent Ministry in this work, to make it possible ", said Juana Guardiola.
