A total of 15 streets of the municipality, some in full and others in specific sections, have benefited from the Plan of Asphalting of Public Roads of Jumilla 2018. With the widening of the east side of the Paseo Lorenzo Guardiola is put an end to these improvements that have supposed an investment of 186,000 euros from the remaining Treasury.
They have renewed areas whose asphalt worse state presented after a study previously conducted by the technicians of the Town Planning Service of the City.
In the Barrio de San Juan, the main performance was carried out on Calle Hernando de Nuño, which has been almost completely repacked, specifically between Fundación and Echegaray streets.
Also, the section of Jacinto Benavente street included between La Paz and Hernando de Nuño.
Likewise, the Avenida de la Esperanza enters the Plan on its stretch between Paz and Miguel de Unamuno streets.
On the other hand, it has proceeded to the complete asphalting of the streets Irene Lopez Heredia, Badalona, ​​Jorge Guillén, Julio Romero de Torres and Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente.
The Canónigo Lozano street, between the corners of Canalejas and Cervantes streets, as well as Cervantes street, between Cura Abellán and Canónigo Lozano, and San Francisco street in its entirety has also been completely renovated.
Likewise, Príncipe Felipe Street has been paved, on the stretch between Paseo Lorenzo Guardiola and Fueros Street.
As improvements to the Asphalting Plan, Hernández Amores streets have been included, in the section of the Guardia Civil barracks, and Los Molinos street.
The works have been carried out by the Etosa Obras y Servicios Building SLU.
