The Department of Youth has launched the course of Personal Defense and Self-protection for young people aged 13 and older.
It is a proposal included in the Participatory Budgets 2018 that includes on the one hand a specific program developed in different martial arts, with which it is intended to provide participants with tools and defense mechanisms against physical aggressions in different scenarios and practical cases based on in possible real situations.
On the other hand, preventive self-protection measures and protocols to be followed in case of being attacked will be learned.
It is being taught by the corporal of the Local Police of Jumilla, Antonio Guardiola Lizán, national coach of police personal, feminine and combat sambo with 2nd grade black belt and other degrees in traditional martial arts.
