The wind storm is leaving several damages of different importance in the municipality of Jumilla.
The most important one was the demolition of the South perimeter wall of Antonio Ibáñez soccer field with a total of 116 linear meters.
The Town Planning Councilor, Francisco González, has stated that "the urgent procedures are being done to install a provisional fence that will allow us to continue using the facility before undertaking its reconstruction."
On the other hand, a tree about six meters high has fallen at the entrance of the Botanical Garden in the hamlet of La Estacada, as well as several branches in different areas such as the San Agustin Rotunda, Municipal Velodrome or Garden of the Arsenal.
The squares and gardens are closed since yesterday afternoon and will remain so until the storm subsides.
Also the Christmas decoration has suffered damages, since one of the luminous arcs was detached and had to be disassembled by Firemen and personnel of the Department of Services.
Similarly, the decorative tree of the door of the Teatro Vico has suffered some damage that should be repaired shortly.
The biggest gusts of wind occurred between midnight and two in the morning, being planned according to AEMET, with the arrival of the afternoon today ends the storm.
