The Councilor for Sports, Juan Manuel Garcia, presented this morning the twelfth edition of the Solidarity Christmas Race of Jumilla, which this year will be held on the morning of next Sunday, December 23 (10.30 h) with departure and goal in the Plaza de la Glorieta.
The test will once again have a solidary character, so that everything collected in the registration of the test, as well as the food delivered by the participants, will go one more year to the Red Cross.
Federated athletes will pay 3 euros and non-federated athletes 5 euros plus two kilos of non-perishable food in both cases.
Prebenjamín, benjamín, alevín and sub-14 categories will not pay registration, although they must deliver food.
The registration period is now open through www.intercrono.es and will close on the next day 20.
As usual there will be a costume contest from half an hour before the first of the exits, which will take place at 11.00.
The rest of the categories will begin the race divided into two more starts at 11.30 and 12.00 respectively.
The circuit does not vary with respect to the latest editions, with a tour through the streets of the center and old town.
The main categories will have to cover 5,746 meters with trophies for the first three classified in all the modalities, as well as for the general and local runners.
