The Templar Association of Jumilla (Murcia), at the request of the General Secretariat of Penitentiary Institutions (SGIP) institution under the Ministry of the Interior, joins the commemorative events of the 40th anniversary of the Spanish Constitution with the model in recyclable material of the submarine " Ictíneo II "of the Catalan Narcís Monturiol to be the submarine Peral, of Simón, of the same nature and origin, currently exhibiting in the Maritime Museum of Barcelona.
The craftsmanship of both buildings has been carried out by inmates in the Murcia II Prison Center (Campos del Río) of the Special Treatment Unit (UTE) and Module 6 involved in the Fénix therapeutic project Prisoners of Fine Arts and Crafts co-organized with the Jumillana Cultural Association (Barcelona Poble sec).
The show has the setting for the headquarters of the penitentiary institution in the Madrid street of Alcalá 34-38 in which also, both associations provide other jobs as the "macaw" in thread of CP Ocaña II, "the brother chaplain" portrait pastel, by Arango CP Zuera, and "Jumilla a Monturiol y Peral" by the same author when he was interned in Murcia I (Sangonera la Verde).
