The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, today presented the acts that will be organized by the City Council on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Spanish Constitution, following a motion approved in the January plenary session and after several meetings with the municipal groups to finalize the Program.
In addition, the director of the Archive and Library, José Luis González, the director of the Ethnography section of the Jerónimo Molina Museum, Cayetano Herrero, and the professor of the University of Murcia, Plácido Guardiola, collaborated in the configuration.
The first of this is celebrated this Thursday and it is the inauguration at 20:00 in the Ethnography section of the Municipal Museum of an exhibition on Jumilla in 1978, which can be visited until December 9.
In the same scenario, next Thursday 29 will be a round table with the title 'Expectations and realities of the Constitution through four jumillanos', with the participation of Dionisio González Otazo, José Jiménez Ripoll, Miguel González Cutillas and Margarita Abellán Abellán , with the moderation of Plácido Guardiola.
On Wednesday, December 5, at 11 am, there will be a youth plenary session with high school students of the IES Arzobispo Lozano and Infanta Elena.
On Thursday, December 6 there will be open doors at City Hall from 10 am to 2 pm.
At 11 o'clock the official raising of the constitutional flag will take place on the balcony of the Town Hall, giving way to the reading of articles of the Constitution in which representatives of associations and groups of the municipality will participate.
At 12.30 a commemorative plaque will be inaugurated in the Plaza de la Constitución with a special concert by the Choral Canticorum.
During all that week the music that will sound on Radio Jumilla will be of the time.
