The Municipal Cemetery of Jumilla will gain accessibility through a stair lift platform that will install in the 1-Enlargement Enclosure so that people with mobility problems have easier to reach this area that has a long flight of stairs.
The acquisition of this mechanism will cost 14,239.01 euros and will be made through the company Eninter Ascensores SLU.
In addition, one of the toilets next to the main entrance has been adapted, new scuppers have been installed for the collection of rainwater, new benches have been installed, sidewalks have been fixed and for the Day of All Saints they have carried out maintenance work on the electrical installation.
Improvements in access by road
On the other hand, the hard shoulders of the Cementerio road have been prepared, from its beginning by Avenida de Yecla to the site itself, improving the safety of it.
As in previous years, the vehicles will be able to access to the cemetery both on the Cantarerías street and on the Cementerio road, although you can only leave it through the latter road, which is the one that is recommended to use.
There will be ample parking space next to the Cemetery, with an approximate capacity of 300 vehicles.
Another form of access will be using the urban bus, which will include this destination in all its routes on Thursday, November 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

-On Thursday 1 will open at 8 a.m. uninterrupted until Friday 2 at 6 p.m.
