The Governing Board has initially approved the modification of the Partial Plan of sector IX-A2 The Arsenal, which is another step forward for the cession to the Autonomous Community of the lands where the High Resolution Integrated Center (CIAR) will be located, " so many years has been demanded from Jumilla ", reported today the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola.
It will be submitted to public information for a month, the owners of the affected lots will be notified and, if there are no allegations, it will be taken to full approval.
At the same time, the reparcelling and urbanization projects will be processed and after the registration of the plot as municipal property, the cession will proceed.
It is a process that could take between three and four months.
Juana Guardiola described this development as "good news, which means that we are a little closer to this cession of the land so that the CARM can begin to build the Integrated Center for High Resolution (CIAR), whose project is already developed."
The first local authority has stated that "at the beginning of next year could be able to start with the procedures that correspond to the Community."
The process of cession of a site for the construction of a CIAR in Jumilla began in October 2009 with the signing of a certificate of delivery of a site to the CARM, which was not considered adequate later.
In July 2015, the procedures to transfer a more appropriate site, also located in the Arsenal, which was exchanged with its owners by another available to the City Council.
In May 2017, the City Council requested the necessary report to achieve the simplified strategic environmental assessment that should be provided by the General Directorate of Environment and that is mandatory to continue with the procedures.
This document is achieved, after more than a year of waiting, at the end of July 2018 with the approval.
