The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, and the president of the local committee of Jumilla of the Spanish Red Cross, Isabel Navarro, today signed the agreement for the granting of the subsidy planned by the Municipal Budgets 2018.
Through this agreement, the Red Cross receives the amount of 10,000 euros with which the City Council collaborates in the activities carried out by the association in the area of ​​social welfare, welfare and social services, with special attention to groups or people with difficulties for their social integration.
The subsidy will be used in particular for the Expansion Project of the Immigrant Service Office (Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm) with the objective of offering information, guidance and advice to the group of foreigners, referral of resources, processing of documentation for residence and work permits, conflict resolution, mediation before embassies and consulates, as well as Spanish classes.
