With the end of September the third edition of the Nazaret Project has been closed, a plan to improve employability that has the collaboration of the City of Jumilla and is co-funded by the European Social Fund, the Murcia Institute of Social Action and managed by Cáritas.
The objective is to provide support in their processes of incorporation into the world of training and employment to young people between 16 and 29 years old enrolled in the National Youth Guarantee System and in a situation of social vulnerability.
During the current 2017/18 academic year, we have intervened individually with 80 young people from Jumilla and Yecla.
From the Social Services Center of Jumilla, the Nazareth Project is derived to young people who, due to their characteristics, fit in it and also follow up to achieve the maximum effectiveness of the program.
A total of 57 people participated in the formations of the level 1 professional certificate of Auxiliary Operations of Furniture and Mural Upholstery.
To this end, an intermediation and labor prospecting work has been carried out in order to publicize the services offered by the project, to agree to carry out internships in companies and to promote the hiring of participants.
12 people have done non-work practices in companies of the upholstery sector in Jumilla and Yecla, 28 people have had some work experience in different sectors (food, maintenance, hospitality, commerce, metal and upholstery) and 17 people have attended training courses professional for the employment carried out by other entities.
Likewise, they have participated in some of the 11 Workshops on Gender Equality and Opportunities, Active Search for Employment, Social Skills and New Technologies.
