The Governing Board has approved the start of the procedure for the granting of subsidies under competitive conditions for the acquisition of teaching material and textbooks for the second cycle of Early Childhood Education for the 2018/19 school year.
A maximum of 100 euros per student will be granted until the budget credit that is 30,000 euros is exhausted.
The criteria of priority in the grant take into account the income, the number of members of the family unit and the lower age of the beneficiary student.
The deadline for applications is 30 calendar days from the publication of the abstract of the call in the BORM.
The Councilor for Educational Centers, Pilar Martínez, said that "the intention was to start the process before, but we had to wait for the Autonomous Community to certify that these grants do not duplicate the services that this administration provides".
Ortega y Gasset street kiosk tender

Other agreements

In smaller contracts approved the contracting of several proposals approved in the Participatory Budgeting process 2018. This is the acquisition of children's and sports games for the districts of La Alqueria and Fuente del Pino through Industrias Mosser 97 for 7,967 euros, the elimination of the architectural barriers of access to the church of La Alquería with Construcciones Vifraju and with a cost of 8,260.71 euros, as well as improving access to the Botanical Garden of La Estacada for 8,350 euros through Construcciones Guillercons.
