The Governing Board held yesterday approved the rehabilitation project of the social premises and the senior club of La Alquería.
The work has a budget of 69,200 euros and is one of the Leader projects approved in the first call for grants for the period 2014-2020.
The two buildings, which are adjoining, will be linked through the courtyard.
In the club for the elderly, the main intervention will be carried out on the roof, which will be completely rehabilitated, since it presents leaks and lack of maintenance.
Likewise, the interior of the social premises will be reformed, unifying it in a single space.
In addition, the electrical power of both buildings will be increased.
All the rooms will be accessible from the street itself.
Other measures to improve both buildings will be carried out, such as the surface rehabilitation of the facades.
