The September regular plenary held last night approved an extraordinary loan and a credit supplement charged to the remaining Treasury worth 400,000 euros that will allow several improvements in the municipality.
With the credit supplement will renew the firm of the Central Market courtyard and its entry, budgeted at 140,350.86 euros.
Through the extraordinary credit the ground of the Bus Station can be renewed with a cost of 10,438.67 euros, the replacement of sidewalks in Juan Ramón Jiménez Street for 24,4730.49 euros, the acquisition of a motor grader and a roller for compaction by 84,700 and 94,380 respectively, the repair of the rural road of Cuesta de la Parra for 23,528.95 euros, the lighting of the playgrounds of Ronda Poniente for 5,170.61 euros, the reform of the parking area of ​​Avenida de Levante by 7,337 , 89 euros and the purchase of urban furniture for gardens for 9,518.17 euros.
It was approved with the vote in favor of PSOE, PP and non-attached councilor and the negative vote of IU-LV.
Green light to two motions
The plenary session last night approved two of the four motions presented.
On the one hand, it was unanimously agreed to update the Local Emergency Plan for forest fires at the proposal of IU-LV with an amendment to the PSOE.
On the other hand, it was approved at the proposal of the council not attached that the departments of Works, Services and Traffic study the installation of speed reducers in the areas requested in the Participatory Budgets.
He had the support of everyone, except for IU-LV who abstained.
An amendment to the addition of IU-LV was rejected, which requested that it be studied if existing ones comply with the regulations.
The two rejected amendments were those submitted by the PP and requested a report on the state of infrastructures and tooling of the Fair, as well as a report on the public toilets on Avenida de Reyes Católicos.
They counted the negative vote of PSOE, the abstention of the non-attached councilor and the support of PP and IU-LV.
On the other hand, with 19 votes in favor and the abstention of IU-LV, a strategic plan for modernization and improvement of the Treasury of the City of Jumilla was approved.
Likewise, the 2017 General Account was approved with the positive vote of PSOE, the abstention of the non-attached councilor and the negative vote of PP and IU-LV.
The plenary session in September also gave an account of the resolutions of the Mayor's Office, the delegated councilors, the judicial resolutions and the 2017 Collection Account.
