This morning there was a meeting between technicians of the City of Jumilla and the Ministry of Development in which the mayor, Juana Guardiola, the general director of Roads, Francisco José González and the councilor of Works and Urbanism, Francisco González.

It was, at the request of the City Council, to resume meetings between the two administrations to agree and fix aspects of the second draft of the agreement delivered by the City Council to carry out the settlement of the Carche road and the link with the A-33 that , according to the mayor, "are necessary to proceed on their part to the processing of it."

On the other hand, Juana Guardiola, highlights and insists that "the settlement of this regional highway is a historical injustice of the Autonomous Community with the Jumillans, as we have been claiming it for more than 15 years and it has been now, when the possibility of linking with the highway A-33, joining the two works, there is more interest, which, of course, is welcome in any case ".

In reference to the agreement, the first local mayor, said that "it is an injustice that has to be financed by the Jumillano works that are not municipal.However, this mayor is working from the first moment to collaborate in everything necessary for the road is fixed for the safety of its users, for that reason, I have promoted and maintained this meeting and all the previous ones. "

Next week the neighbors of the first section will be summoned to continue informing and advance as much as possible in the provision of land, "procedures that CARM should do, but we are willing to collaborate as much as possible," says the mayor.

"This City Council is fulfilling, for that reason we demand from the CARM loyalty and seriousness with those who are willing to collaborate beyond their competences in a regional way," he concluded.
