Juan Manuel Domínguez has won the first prize of the Jumilla Fireworks Photography Contest 2018, delivered yesterday by the Mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the Councilor for Celebrations, Pilar Martinez, and the representative of the company Pirotecnia Murciana, Juan José Palazón.
The photograph with the slogan 'Light and color' was chosen by the jury as the best of the approximately 200 that were presented and gets a prize of 250 euros.
'Giving color to the tower', by Juan Ignacio Tomás, takes the second prize, endowed with 100 euros, while 'Palmeral', by José Poveda, reaches the third place with a prize of 50 euros.
The contest was one of the novelties presented by the traditional fireworks castle that serves to end the Jumilla Fair and Festivities, which this year was launched from the La Hoya Municipal Sports Center on August 19.
