The Department of Culture has organized two days of open doors to the Iberian site of Coimbra del Barranco Ancho, which will take place this Saturday and Sunday, September 1 and 2.
Both visits will coincide with different works of the excavation campaign that is taking place in the area, which began on Monday and will last until Saturday, September 8.
The visit will be, therefore, an opportunity to see the archaeologists and students at full task with the appropriate explanations and answers from the directors of the same: the municipal archaeologist, Emiliano Hernández, the professor of the University of Murcia, José Miguel García Cano and the director CEPOA, Javier Martínez.
To participate in the conference you have to bring your own vehicle, leaving at 9.30 am on both days from the parking lot of Mercado de Abastos.
The visit will begin at 10.00 and will last approximately two hours.
For more information you can go to the archeology section of the Jerónimo Molina Museum or call 968757379.
