The toilets of both sexes of the ground floor and the male toilet on the first floor of the main building of Jumilla City Council have been completely reformed, given the poor general condition they presented.
Those below have collapsed and completely rebuilt, while on the first floor two units have been joined to achieve greater amplitude.
The architectural barriers have been eliminated and the toilets have been adapted for people with mobility problems.
New ceilings, pavements, electrical systems and tiling are all new, as are all accessories.
"In the women's downstairs has also installed a diaper changing to be a public toilet," stressed the Councilor for Works and Urban Planning, Francisco González.
The works have been carried out by City Council staff, with bricklayers hired through the job boards.
The cost of the same has been about 6,000 euros.
These works are linked to those carried out in the Town Hall as the restoration of the historic central courtyard and the main door, the repainting and adaptation of the electrical installation of the office building, General Registry, municipal groups and Urbanism, as well as cleaning and rehabilitation of the cover of the office area.
