Under the title 'Of celebration not everything is worth' and with the motto 'It is not no', the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, and the Councilor for Equality, Salvi Pérez, today presented a campaign to prevent sexist aggressions at parties.
There will be a generic poster that will be placed in different public places, as well as in bars, cafeterias and leisure areas, which transmits different messages of non tolerance to this type of behavior.
Likewise, 4,000 fans have been edited to clarify when you are having sexist behavior and what to do in case of aggression, as well as 2,000 related wristbands.
All the material will be distributed in the Wine Mini Fair on Saturday 11, the Cross Wine Festival on Wednesday 15 and the Traditional Wine Parade on Thursday 16. In addition, the campaign will be reflected in the local press media, radio, television and social networks.
The hashtag to use is #stopagresionessexistas
"We have to ensure that in the face of this type of aggression, society does not look the other way," the mayor and the councilor of the area have highlighted.
Currently, only 20% of sexual assaults in Spain are reported, according to data offered in the presentation of the campaign.
Likewise, it has been highlighted that there is no record of this type of complaints in Jumilla in the parties of recent years.
