The Governing Board held yesterday approved the Strategic Plan for Grants 2018 that establishes a concession of 725,000 euros between those allocated directly and those of competitive competition.
The content of this plan refers to the subsidy forecasts contemplated in the Municipal Budget of the City of Jumilla for the year 2018, approved in full and in force since July 5.
It includes more than 250,000 euros for social aid, 135,000 for education, 130,000 for sports clubs and 97,500 for festive groups, among others.
"With these subsidies, recovered and increased during the last three years, it is clear the clear commitment of this Government to support activities in all areas," said Councilor for Finance, Alfonso Pulido.
These are cultural, sports, subsidies aimed at youth, the occupation of leisure time, related to education, the promotion of women, health, the protection of the environment and neighborhood associations.
Related to festivities are 97,500 euros (35,000 Holy Week, 25,000 Harvest Festival, 22,000 Folklore Festival, 10,500 Moors and Christians, 2,000 Virgin of the Assumption Brotherhood, 2,000 Drum Association and 1,000 Peña Caballista).
They also highlight 253,500 euros for social aid, of which 110,000 are for charity and assistance, 20,000 for extreme emergency aid and 60,000 for different groups with social purposes.
Cáritas, Cruz Roja, Aspajunide, Amfiju and AECC are directly subsidized with a total of 63,500 euros.
A further 135,000 euros come to education through the Bonobús (50,000 euros), aid in school supplies (30,000 euros), and activities carried out by the AMPAS (55,000 euros).
For sports groups, subsidies worth 130,000 euros are contemplated.
Another 20,000 goes back to cooperation projects and NGOs.
Likewise, subsidies and agreements for districts, neighborhood associations, Wine Route Association (12,000 euros), 4 Patas Association (38,000 euros), music bands (10,000 euros), associations related to nature (4,000 euros), groups are planned municipal politicians (9,072 euros), as well as 14,800 euros for cultural activities through the Artisans Association, Jesus Nazareno Brotherhood, University of Murcia, Literary Prize, Photography Prize and Entomology Prize, or Youth activities through Youth Art.
