The recently inaugurated Olympic Pool of the La Hoya Sports Center will host the swimming sleeve of the XXVI Jumilla City Triathlon, which returns to this facility once it has been completely renovated.
The test, which takes place on the morning of Sunday, August 5, was presented this morning next to the pool by the Councilor for Sports, Juan Manuel García, and the head of the City Council, Francisco Crespo.
As usual it will be sprint distances, so you have to complete 750 meters of swimming, 20 kilometers of cycling in a circuit that will cross the Avenue of Liberty and Ronda de los Franceses, to finish with 5 kilometers of running in the environment of the sports center with beginning and end in the athletics track.
The smaller categories will leave at 9.00, while the rest will leave at 11.00.
The registration period opens tomorrow and can be made effective until August 1 on the web www.trimurcia.org.
In the presentation it has been highlighted that "it is one of the oldest triathlons in the Region of Murcia and one of the few that is made in an Olympic pool".
