The Governing Board held today has agreed to contract for an amount of 31,702.33 euros to Construcciones Euloman for the demolition works of the buildings located in Calle Miguel Trigueros, 6 and in Peña, 15 and 17. These are houses that are they are in a state of ruin and the demolition will be carried out in subsidiary execution after numerous procedures.
In the last year there have been several works that have been carried out by the subsidiary execution, such as the demolition of a house on Calle Travesía de la Amargura, 80, the removal of a fence that invaded the sidewalk in Calle Pasos, the of a facade in the Plaza del Rollo that caused the cutting of a street or the refurbishment of the San Francisco Pavilion track that allowed its reopening after several years closed.
On the other hand, the City of Jumilla is going to present again the preliminary project of total rehabilitation of the Perez de los Cobos House to the 2018 call of the 1.5% Cultural Program of the Ministry of Development.
The cost of the rehabilitation of the Perez de los Cobos House has been calculated at 1,325,736 euros, for which it requests financing of 917,936 euros, with the City taking the remaining 407,800 euros, as approved today by the Local Government Board, which would come out of the 2019 and 2020 budgets.
Other agreements
It has also been approved to apply for a grant for the hiring of two cleaning workers with mental illness or in the process of recovery of drug addiction for an amount of 7,877.21 euros and assume the commitment to provide another 10,000 euros.
Likewise, the renewal of the emergency call attention service agreement (112) has been approved.
In proposal of expenses, an amount of 2,602.71 euros is approved for the purchase of legs for scenarios.
In settlement of obligations, an amount of 73,665.39 euros has been approved for payment to suppliers.
