The Mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, and the Councilor for Sports, Juan Manuel García, presented this morning the multi-sport stadium outdoor gymnastics installed in the La Hoya Sports Center, which will allow the physical preparation of athletes in many forms .
They have been accompanied by the councilman of Services, Francisco González, the head of the Sports area, Francisco Crespo, and the secretary of Athletic Club Vinos de Jumilla, Juan Mateo.
The machine, which is located next to the athletics track, allows a multitude of physical exercises for the set-up of athletes, regardless of the modality they practice, as reported by the Councilor for Sports.
Its use is free, during the usual opening hours of the installation.
The multistation was acquired through the company Lecy Sport with a cost of 5,929 euros, to which we must add the adequacy of the ground and anti-shock pavement installed.
With this, another of the proposals approved through the Participatory Budgeting process is fulfilled.
More than half a million euros of investment in the Sports Center
During the last three years, more than half a million euros have been invested in the La Hoya Municipal Sports Center between the construction of the new Olympic Swimming Pool, whose works will end next week, the acquisition of material for the athletics track, public lighting of the different streets and zones of step of installation, as well as the renovation of the luminarias of the fields of soccer, that in addition will happen to be led soon, to which it is necessary to unite other improvements and maintenances in bleachers and changing rooms.
"All this shows the commitment to sport in the current legislature," said the mayor.
