The Councilor for Social Policy, Salvi Pérez, the coordinator of the Center for Social Services, Vicente Martínez, the director of Employment of the Red Cross, Encarna Marín, and the Red Cross technician, Lara Gallardo, presented today at a press conference the third edition of the Socio-Labor Inclusion Program for people in situation or risk of social exclusion that begins in Jumilla on July 1.
The fundamental objective is the improvement of the social and labor situation of these people, who arrive at the Red Cross derived from the Social Services Center.
Through the program, complete socio-labor insertion itineraries are developed, as well as the development of inclusive markets.
In the two previous editions more than one hundred people have been attended.
Of this total, 50% have obtained a job;
30% have managed to recycle themselves in a new profession and thanks to this training, 6.6% have obtained a job position where they carried out non-work training practices;
70% have received training in food handling, language skills for employability;
professional skills for the job;
assembly and maintenance of low voltage electrical installations;
auxiliary operations of storage, IT and new technologies etc.
This project is financed 80% by the European Social Fund and 20% by the IMAS through the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, within the operational program 2014-2020.
