The professor of pathological anatomy and pediatrics, Miguel Marín Padilla, has visited the municipality again and has met in the City of Jumilla with the mayor, Juana Guardiola, accompanied by the professor of pathological anatomy and Jumillano, Guzmán Ortuño, where they have talked about the characteristics and needs of the space that hosts the entire file of Marín Padilla, which he plans to donate to Jumilla and whose material he intends to begin shipping from the United States at the end of the year.
"At the moment, it is proposed to commission a project for the construction of a research center for the human brain, which should not only accept the legacy of Marín Padilla, but should also be useful to it, allowing it to continue with its research", the mayor has indicated.
In the plenary of last September, unanimously agreed after joint motion, the value of the legacy of Dr. Marín Padilla, showing the willingness to be located in Jumilla in a center that becomes a space for study and research.
For this purpose, future budgets will be provided for this purpose and will be requested from the Autonomous Community, the University of Murcia and any other public and private institutions that can join the project.
