The Cañada del Trigo has improved its image after the completion of different works that have recently been executed in several buildings, streets and squares of the district.
The works have been visited by the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the councilman of Works and Services, Francisco González, accompanied by the pedáneo, José Agustín Escandell.
The facades of the school, the health center and the social area of ​​the district have been repainted, which has also been painted on the inside.
Likewise, the architectural barriers of the social premises and the health center have been eliminated.
In the Plaza de las Escuelas, a 24-square-meter shaded area is also planned, in compliance with one of the proposals approved in the 2018 Participatory Budgeting process, which also included accessibility, a work already executed.
On the other hand, two streets have been asphalted, eight new streetlights, traditional games, as well as banks and litter bins have been installed.
In the square of the church, the fountain has been painted, new benches have been laid and the garden has been conditioned with albero.
