The old school of La Zarza is already ready after the rehabilitation carried out in recent months.
The building, municipal property, is currently used as the headquarters of the district and was in a state of deterioration.
Yesterday they visited the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the Councilor for Works and Services, Francisco González, accompanied by the pedáneo, Salvador Sánchez.
The old iron windows have been replaced by new ones of aluminum and climalit type glazing.
Likewise, the building has been repainted, the patio has been concreted and a sidewalk has been built throughout its perimeter.
In addition, the cistern, also located in the courtyard, has been restored.
The works have been carried out by municipal personnel, including operators hired through the Youth Guarantee Program, to which the material used must be added.
The Mayor of Jumilla recalled that "it is working very closely with all the pedáneos to attend to the extent of the possibilities all the most priority needs that have the districts."
On the other hand, the pedáneo showed his satisfaction, "since it was a very necessary work before the deterioration that the building had".
