Last week the refurbishment works of the Fueros street, between avenues of Levante and Reyes Católicos, completed, which corresponds to the second phase of the work of the POS 2017 that also included the same stretch of Valencia Street, already completed. Calle Fueros has renewed the road, the sidewalks, as well as a part of the network of drinking water and sanitation.
When widening the sidewalks, vehicle parking can only be carried out on the sidewalk of the Food Market.
The works have been executed by the company Jumillana Riegos Ago with a cost of 95,729.40 euros, including Valencia Street, which was in the same project.
Both are included in the 2017 Works and Services Plan, which also included Avenida del Casón, whose renovation was completed last month and Goya Street, whose works consist of the completion of the road to link with Avenida de los Franceses through asphalted and new sidewalks.It is scheduled to end this week.
The entire plan has had a cost of 363,376.68 euros, of which 231,594 euros have been subsidized by the CARM and 131.782,68 come from the City of Jumilla.
