The Department of Traffic has painted during the last days the road markings of the Ronda Poniente Juan Pablo II avenue, which did not count on them.
To this end, the signaling machine recently acquired by the City of Jumilla has been used to reduce time and costs.
The lane lines, the parking lines, as well as those that limit the speed to 30 km / h or 20 km / h have been painted in the areas near the pedestrian crossings.
Likewise, LED lights have been installed to illuminate one of the pedestrian crossings as a preventive safety measure to avoid collisions, as it will attract the attention of both drivers and pedestrians themselves.
"The objective is to continue placing more in other pedestrian crossings in places with a lot of traffic," said the councilor of the area, Francisco Gómez.
Soon, it is planned to paint the road markings of the Ronda Camino de los Franceses and then continue with the repainting of the main roads of the city, adding the missing signage.
