The Councilor for Equality and Social Policy, Salvi Pérez, has presented the 2018 Summer Libraries, which are launched through the Municipal Plan for the Prevention of Drug Addiction. They will be carried out during the month of July, with headquarters in the schools Miguel Hernández, Nuestra Señora de the Assumption, Carmen Conde, Social Center Third District and in the districts La Alquería and Fuente del Pino.
The Governing Board approved to hire the company Jumiformación for the provision of this service with a cost of 8,560 euros.
Children between 4 and 12 years old can participate and the inscriptions must be formalized in the Social Services Center between June 4 and 15, and it is foreseen that on June 27th the list of admitted will be published.
The tax is set at € 30.20 and there are exemptions and bonuses for children with disabilities, large families, also vulnerable or at risk of exclusion.
The toy libraries will focus their content on working healthy lifestyles, school reinforcement, field trips, play activities and they will be able to serve between 200 and 220 children that will be attended by 11 monitors, two more than in the 2017 edition.
