The four motions presented to the May plenary session held last night were approved.
It was agreed that the City Council carry out a study to remove the cables, antennas and apparent conduits in the facades and roofs of the declared monuments of cultural interest under the current legislation.
It was presented by the non-attached councilor and counted on the positive votes of the PSOE and not attached councilor, the abstention of the PP and the negative vote of IU-LV.
Likewise, it was approved that an inventory of buildings of interest susceptible of being illuminated in its exterior be prepared, as well as those others that should improve it.
Also valued memories will be made of the actions to be undertaken.
The proposal was presented by the PP and counted on the votes in favor of PSOE and PP and with the abstentions of IU-LV and the non-attached councilor.
On the other hand, it was agreed to study the areas of the municipality with the greatest influx for the installation of public fountains and restrooms, complying with the standards of accessibility, hygiene and capacity.
A minimum collection system will be created to avoid misuse.
This motion was presented by IU-LV and had positive votes from PSOE and IU-LV, as well as abstentions from PP and non-attached councilor.
It was also approved the motion presented by the PP before the announcement of ETA by which is assumed the commitment to keep alive the memory of the victims and continue in the struggle, transfer gratitude to those institutions, entities and people who have been involved in the struggle, as well as the organizations that have defended the dignity of the victims.
It will be demanded that the murders and crimes committed by ETA continue to be judged and that the political parties will be called upon to maintain the Anti-Terrorist Pact.
The City Council will join the initiative to show the blue ribbon as a symbol of the fight against the terrorist group.
PSOE and PP voted in favor, while IU-LV and the non-attached councilor abstained.
In the plenary session of May, the Economic and Financial Plan 2018 was approved with the positive votes of PSOE and not attached councilor, the abstention of PP and the vote against IU-LV.
