The Governing Board held this morning has agreed to authorize the rehabilitation of the reservoir of the Sierra de las Cabras and the Sister requested by the Naturalist Association of Jumilla Stipa, owned by the City Council, under the European Leader assistance in the line of rehabilitation of reservoirs for forest fires.
The objective is to recover an element of municipal heritage that during the use of the esparto had its function and could now be a water point for the extinction of forest fires.
Specifically, that of the Sierra de las Cabras was built in 1942.
On the other hand, the subsidy of 40,584.94 euros has been accepted for the CAVI service, as decreed by the Governing Council.
It also starts a file for the hiring of a psychologist, a legal advisor and a social worker.
In settlement of obligations, an amount of 76,847.33 euros has been approved for payment to suppliers.
