Councilor for Youth Employment, Lucía Jiménez, yesterday presented the European Mobility and Entrepreneurship Day to be held in Jumilla next May 23.
She was accompanied by Diego Marín, president of the Euroacción Association of Murcia, and Lorena Gil, technician of the Juvenile Employment Center of the City of Jumilla.
It is intended to publicize the possibilities that young people have to take part in the European Voluntary Service of the Erasmus + Program.
It is an experience abroad funded by the European Union.
In the days will be, in addition, dynamics of entrepreneurship and development.
In addition, places will be offered in host projects to be held in Indonesia and India, which will last 7 months.
It is aimed at unemployed young people between 18 and 30 years old and will be held at the Roque Baños Center from 9.30 am to 2 pm.

The councilor of the area stressed that "Jumillano and young people from other locations can participate in the conference", since Jumilla will host them at the regional level.
What is European volunteering?
It is a learning experience in the field of non-formal education, which allows young people between 18 and 30 years to express their personal commitment through a voluntary full-time unpaid service in another country of the European Union or outside it.
Young people are given the opportunity to contribute to the daily work of organizations that deal with information and policies in the field of youth, personal and socio-educational development of young people, civil involvement, social assistance, inclusion of the most disadvantaged, the environment, non-formal education programs, ICT and media literacy, culture and creativity or development cooperation, among others.
