Five of the six motions presented by the municipal groups have been approved during the plenary session held in April.
It has been agreed, at the proposal of the non-attached councilor, that actions be initiated to check whether the so-called "Chimenea de los Aurelios" architectural pathologies present a need for restoration.
In addition, a study will be carried out to conserve it, delimiting it with a garden and leisure area.
He counted on the positive votes of all the groups, with the exception of the PP, which abstained.
Unanimously, it has been approved that a municipal ordinance be drawn up regulating the urban taxi service, including tariff regulation.
To do this, a commission of license holders in the municipality will be invited to contribute their requests.
Likewise, it is agreed to establish control over the aquifers of Jumilla, request the CHS not to authorize plantations that may endanger their health, to establish a Sectoral Council, request information on the status of the aquifers to all administrations and institutions, that fight against the fracking and that a plan of reduction and efficiency of the general consumption of the water is elaborated.
The motion was presented by IU-LV and voted in favor by the proponent group and PSOE, the abstention of the councilor not attached and against by the PP.
It is also approved, at the proposal of the PP, that allergen species be progressively replaced by other hypoallergenic species in the municipality, that an allergy map be drawn up and that the effects caused by certain species in the allergic people
He counted on the positive votes of PP and PSOE and the abstention of IU-LV and the non-attached councilor.
Finally, it has been approved unanimously, at the proposal of the PSOE, request the Government of Spain to include in the General Budget of the State an annual increase of 20 million euros to municipalities and 100 million to the autonomous communities that allows the development of the measures contemplated in the State Pact against Gender Violence.
It was rejected, with the votes against the PSOE and the non-attached councilor, the motion of the PP on the preparation of a new draft of the Regulations of the Internal Regime of the Municipal Cemetery based on the FEMP's standard regulations.
ICIO fiscal ordinance modification
On the other hand, with the positive votes of the PSOE, the abstentions of PP and non-attached councilor and the votes against IU-LV the modification of the tax ordinance regulating the tax on buildings, facilities and works (ICIO) that will modify the module 7 referred to the photovoltaic installations adapting it to the current prices.
Also, allow bonuses of this tax to photovoltaic or wind plants for job creation with positions that must be maintained for at least two years.
Unanimously, the rectification of the municipal inventory was approved for the expansion of rural roads.
All councilors also supported the definitive settlement of the management contract for the public exploitation service of the Jumilla Bus Station.
In the plenary session in April, there was also an account of the settlement of the 2017 General Budget, the Intervention report on the breach of the Expenditure Rule and the need for approval of an economic-financial plan, as well as the report on the period means of payment to suppliers in the first quarter of 2018. Likewise, the Treasury report on arrears in the first quarter of 2018, the resolutions of the Mayor's office, the delegated councilors and the judicial resolutions have been reported.
