Jumilla Mayor Francisco Abellán will meet on 24 June with the Head of the Demarcation of Roads, Ángel García Garay to address various issues related to the highway linking Jumilla White.

In this way, the meeting will discuss the service road which gives entry and exit of farmers, the shuttle will link the motorway with the town and the location of the area of services (in the El Ardal), subjects all of them "who are working for a year and a half and for those who have the desire of the Ministry of Public Works to resolve completely and correctly", as indicated Abellán.

In these cases, in particular, insist on the service road parallel to it would take the highway and would allow farmers access to their plantations, both as to the other side of the road.

On these issues, the mayor recalled that in July 2009, met with the head of the works of a section of highway that runs from Jumilla liaison with the A-10, the El Boqueron.

At that meeting, the head of this work informed the mayor of a project that will solve a problem they were farmers and residents of the area of Roman and Raja.

These neighbors were with the highway as a barrier to their movement from one point to another, they could only access road and cross from very equidistant points.

These people, led by the headman of the Raja, collected signatures for a solution to this situation.

Once this meeting takes place the mayor will meet with affected people who have approached the City Council to request information, "unlike others who go it alone, but also may have direct information from the mayor."
