A total of 81 papers have been submitted to I Bookmark Contest organized by the Department of Culture, through the Municipal Library.
This activity is framed in the program of events to mark the City Literary Prize XXXI Jumilla.
The first prize in this contest of bookmarks has been for the girl Ana Belén López Abellán.
In addition there were two runners, one for Silvia Rebollo Rico and the other for Ana Crespo Zaragoza.
The girls went to collect the prize accompanied by relatives.
The awards were presented, by the councilman of Culture Joan Guardiola, last Tuesday at the Children's Room of the Library.
Guardiola praised the winners for "imagination and dedication you have put into developing these bookmarks with the goal of doubling never a leaf of a book to point to where it takes the reading."
The council also announced that it will make copies of the bookmark winners and will be shared between users of the library.
Finally, Juan Guardiola recalled the "well accepted that children are having a classroom library, after the works were carried out earlier this year also will remodel the room and it will become a very welcoming place for children and young people can come here and feel good among the books that in theory this is it, "said the councilman.
