Last week, Councilman Jose Luis Monreal Health held a meeting with the coordinator of Centre for Health, Dr. José Casas.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the situation of two measles cases detected in Jumilla.
Councilmember Casas confirmed that "there are two isolated cases in two children and that the situation is fully controlled under the guidance of the Directorate General of Public Health."
Monreal added that vaccines are available for people who, according to his attending physician, require administration.
Any doubt should contact the Health Center and follow the guidelines recommended by your doctor.
"With this information I send a message of reassurance to the public, since, as he confirmed the coordinator of the Health Center, the situation is under control," said Councilman Health.
The information has grabbed the media by the Directorate General of Public Health issued a statement to a school, in order to avoid contagion.
Similarly, at the time, Dr. Casas went to reassuring people, saying that "the vast majority of patients in the age of risk are vaccinated."
