Jumilla Holy Week started officially on Sunday with the celebration of the opening speech given by the Archbishop of Zaragoza Manuel Ureña Pastor, who served for seven years, the bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena.
Before his opening speech, Ureña Pastor was received by the authorities in the municipality of Jumilla, where he greeted the corporation and the presidents and executives of the brotherhoods, guilds and Central Board and signed the book of honor.
