Submitted a line of support in the 'Leader approach' to distribute more than three million euros (16/02/2010)

This morning has been filed by the Mayor of Jumilla Francisco Abellán and Francisco Santa program manager, a call for aid under the program 'Leader approach', through the Regional Development Association of Northeast Region of Murcia .

This program is the continuity of the Leader, Leader II and Leader Plus they are intended for rural development and aims to help create investment within these areas, and therefore an economic stimulus and wealth.

By this line of support, the towns of Jumilla, Yecla, Fortuna will be spread over three billion euros, namely EUR 3,198,258 plus the private contribution will involve investments of more than 5 million euros.

In this presentation, the Mayor of Jumilla Francisco Abellán has indicated that "this is an opportunity for investment and job creation, it is money that we will deliver Jumilla, Yecla, Fortuna and will depend on the capacity of each municipality submit innovative projects that fit the program. "

'Leader approach' is a two-year program (2009-2011) and the deadline for proposals is until 9 April, although it could reopen, exceptionally the last quarter of 2010, if funds remain available.

Those interested should inquire and submit their applications at the offices of the Regional Development Association of the Northeast in Pablo Picasso Avenue, 103 - under Yecla or Local Development Agency City Hall attended by the technician Angel Perez.

The beneficiaries of the aid will be sole proprietors, corporations, Agricultural Processing Societies, Cooperatives, Labor Corporations and other legal form contained in existing legislation and local public entities.

As pointed out by the manager, "in the case of companies, such aid is not designed for large companies, but basically to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and microenterprises."

As one of the requirements are not initiating investment to the submission of the case, which concerned an innovative project, as well as technically, economically and financially, to generate employment and to remain the destination for investment, at least Over the five years following certification of completion of investment.

Seven measures have been established, each to each recipient, with investment rates and a budgeted amounts.

So far there is '1 .2.3 'to increase the added value of agricultural and forestry products, for micro-enterprises, with an aid intensity of 50% of the eligible investment and an amount for the 327,154 euros.

The second measure is '3 .1.1 'diversification into nonagricultural activities.

This is intended for individual owners to farm, with a maximum subsidy of 50% and 30% minimum and a budgeted amount of 280,000 euros.

Another measure is '3 .1.2 'to aid the creation and development of micro, with a maximum subsidy of 50% and 30% minimum and an amount for € 400,000.

The average fourth '3 .1.3 'to promote tourism, a project grant 100% non-productive and productive projects between 30 and 50%, an amount allocated for 409,904 euros.

Another measure is the '3 .2.1 'to provide basic services for the economy and rural population, with subsidies for unproductive projects 100% and production projects between 30 and 50%.

In this case there is a total amount of 135,000 euros for individuals and 265,000 euro for municipalities.

The measure '3 .2.3 'refers to conservation and enhancement of rural heritage, with subsidies for unproductive projects 100% and production projects between 30 and 50%, and a budgeted amount of 1,311,200 euros only for municipalities.

Finally, the seventh measure is '3 .3.1 'on training and information, the aid intensity is 100% and 70,000 euros is intended only for individuals or private legal.

In the latter cases, may be granted all persons or entities wishing to develop a tourism project in the rural territory of the Leader of the Northeast Region of Murcia.
