Inauguration of an exhibition, unique in the Region of Murcia, which are shown dollhouses Francisco graying (15/12/2009)

Yesterday was inaugurated in the Artisan's House, an exhibition on 'Doll House' of Jumillano Francisco graying.

The sample, as noted the President of the Association of Artisans Mari Carmen Herrero "is a unique exhibition in the whole area and maybe in the Region of Murcia."

The exhibition includes a total of 13 houses, some of which are sold and have been donated by their owners.

These works have between 800 and 1,200 pieces each.

The houses on display are all different, and in total, the author offers 46 developed in about five years.

In addition, Francis has graying miniature reproductions of places like the Plaza de Arriba, the modern house of Doña Pepita or Vico Theatre (with 13,000 pieces welded), among others.

The event was attended by dozens of people, including families of artisans and graying, plus crafts Councilman Ildefonso Jimenez commended the author of this exhibition because of its enormous work, so I invite everyone to come and visit the exhibition which has required many hours of dedication. Following the opening of the exhibition Francisco graying gave a talk on 'The work of miniature houses' in which he spoke of his dedication to this hobby.

Graying said "this exhibition is the result of the commitment of five years in developing these small houses is a hobby with which I fill my free time and my life."

The author said it was something you liked as a child and this hobby that reflects the aspiration of youth had become an architect.

Francisco graying said that besides the construction of these houses, made almost entirely of wood, has taken over the railings "something I discovered in the homes of Jumilla and caught my attention, I tried to play in my work and what makes houses that are unique. "

The exhibition will be open until January 15 at the Artisan's House, on Calle del Rico, 12, hours, Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00 and Saturday from 11:00 to 14:00.
