According to publicly denounced Mayor Francisco Abellán Jumilla, the Autonomous Community of Murcia Jumilla had a debt of almost 800,000 euros, and other commitments of grants and subsidies.
In this regard, the Socialist Party filed a motion in the full regular meeting on Monday to demand payment of this debt.
The motion was rejected with the votes of PP and IU-LV.
Although not approved the motion and leave behind the pressures, the City of Jumilla has received, between yesterday and today, multiple entries by the regional administration, first of 387,000 euros for the Regional Plan for Public Safety and other side, 111,000 euros and 138,000 euros from the agreement of Basic Social Services.
Thus, as stated by the mayor, "the Autonomous Region has paid the debt was due and payable to the municipality of Jumilla.
Abellán has stated that "this confirms the basic principle that he who does not cry does not suck."
The highest authority has expressed his satisfaction at this news and added: "What we hope is that, with the same speed and without it being necessary to return to publicly denounce the Autonomous Region meets the rest of economic and budgetary commitments have to Jumilla.
