The whole society turned the ceremony of the II Awards Seven Days Jumilla (07/07/2009)

Music from 'The Vogue' and the dance teacher Aurora Gonzalez served to begin the ceremony of the II Awards Seven Days Jumilla.

Again, Jumilla Vico Theatre served as the backdrop for this event which brought about five hundred people clothed, with their presence, the winners of this year and the drafting of Seven Days Jumilla, directed by Gustavo López.

The audience was, thus, support the winners: Club Deportivo Peña La Parra, the Wine Route Association, Central Quesera Montesinos, Aspajunide, Manuel Gea and Sister Josefina del Colegio Santa Ana also attended numerous local and regional, including the government delegate Rafael González Tovar, the Mayor of Jumilla, Francisco Abellán, Yecla's mayor, Juan Miguel Benedicto, the director general of Livestock, Adolfo Falagas, director general of People with Disabilities, Mari Sol Morente Councillor for Tourism and the City of Pinoso, María José Jover, as well as other council members of the corporation Jumillano.

Also present were directors and fellow Seven Days group, as well as media representatives of the town.

Following the opening performance, the director of the weekly, Gustavo Lopez, welcomed those present and explained that Seven Days Jumilla has served two years as a link and communication between the different layers that comprise the local society.

The award was received by President of the same, Carmen Olivares, and the center's director, Juan Valero, addressing attendees the president to thank this recognition and to highlight the social work Aspajunide performed.

Then the editor Fany Martinez presented to Sister Josephine, Labor Education Award for 2009, noting that for her this award had a special character, as the sister Josephine was her teacher and during his presentation on some of the anecdotes with her Santa Ana College, for its part, the words of the winner were full of appreciation and sensitivity, highlighting the importance of providing a good education in values.

Likewise, this year the photographer of Seven Days, Pepi Aroca, presented the award to the Labor Cultural 2009 Manuel Gea, and throughout his presentation highlighted the track of this journalist and writer who has written several books, has worked in different media and has helped to promote local culture.

For his part, Manuel Gea wanted to share the prize with his wife and children also recited by way of poetry, speech, written for the occasion.

After Jumillano journalist, Antonio Valero addressed those present to explain the reasons why the Wine Route Association deserves Jumilla Ambassador Award 2009 and was detailing the feelings aroused which tourism and wine.

In charge of collecting the award was Pedro Piqueras, president of the association, who acknowledged the work of Hall, as well as all the companies that are part of the Jumilla Wine Route.

Finally, María José Hernández, managing editor of Seven Days, listed some of the reasons why the paper has decided to honor this year Montesinos Central Cheese Special Award 2009, among which were his growth both in facilities personnel, and their desire to excel and work.

Finally, the government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, he congratulated the members of the weekly as well as representatives of Group Seven Days.

He congratulated all the winners, of which said they should set an example for all members of society.

The event ended with a family photo and signature of the winners and the authorities in the guest book Seven Days Jumilla.

Then, all participants went to the Hotel Monreal which offered a toast and was provided by the future success of this weekly and Jumilla.
