Jumilla this weekend celebrating the First Meeting of Associations of Women (16/06/2009)

19 and June 20, Jumilla celebrates the First Meeting of Women's Associations.

The activities have been submitted by the mayor and Councilwoman Francisco Abellán Women Fuensanta Olivares.

This meeting highlights the participation of the regional deputy PSOE in Social Policy Lola Hernandez, and the presentation of the second Plan of Equal Opportunities between men and women.

This meeting is expected to attend more than one hundred women and partnerships involving all local women, including the Association of Rural Women in the villages of the Fuente del Pino, the Encebras and Torre del Rico, the Fibromyalgia Association, FAFA, ALMA and Water and Earth.

Francisco Abellán said: "The meeting, organized by the Department of Women aims to promote associations between women and foster discussion between associations and groups, while their objectives and aspirations, and media reports funding available and offer any advice. "

Councilwoman Women explained that the idea of this meeting "emerged from the women who, on different occasions, have expressed interest in knowing each other and share ideas and experiences."

"With this meeting we also want to know where we are and, especially, where it is heading," said Olivares Fuensanta.

The meeting begins on Friday June 19th at 16:30 hours with the collection of documentation and registration.

A presentation will be followed by the meeting and welcomed by the Department of Women.

About 17:30 pm will present the findings of the two courses offered on the management of women's associations in Jumilla, in the hands of Alfonso Hijano, trainer of the course.

Then there will be a debate.

At 19:00 hours are scheduled action by the regional deputy PSOE in Social Policy Lola Hernandez.
