The Federation Rocks of the Harvest Festival to choose, for the first time, a couple of harvesters to represent this group during the holidays and events that develop throughout the year.
Thus, rather than higher harvester and his companions are representing these people, this year will be a Grape and Grape Mayor and a couple of children, as reported by sources of the Federation of Peñas.
These couples will be representing the parties and the federation in the acts themselves and develop in Jumilla, as well as activities in which the Federation is invited to participate.
Interested persons can register to participate in the contest before the 15th May and should be directed to Travel Mays, any of the media in the locality or call 626-46 45 36.
On May 16 there will be a day of living in Bodegas Hacienda del Carche to meet and interview the candidates and the election will be held on May 23 at 21:30 pm, in the course of an act to be held at the Paseo Poet Lorenzo Guardiola and also where the couple will be chosen child.
The only requirement to run for Mayor Grape and Grape is at least 18 years and, from there, there is no age limit.
The winning couple will be in addition to many gifts, a trip to the Dominican Republic.
On the other hand, on Friday, May 15 presented the acts of the Harvest Festival 2009, as reported by sources in the federation.
