A total of 162 drawings were submitted to a competition for children on the prevention of drug consumption (23/12/2008)

Among the activities organized by the Department of Social Policy and Social Services Centre, and included in the Drug Addiction Prevention Programme, 2008, organized a drawing competition for students and pupils of first grade.

To this end, students in these classrooms was explained the harmful effects of drugs, including snuff and alcohol and asked to participate by a drawing.

In total, 162 have submitted drawings and the children belonged to San Francisco schools, Miguel Hernández, Our.

Lady of the Assumption, Prince Felipe and Mariano Suárez.

On Tuesday December 23 were delivered in the plenary hall of the City, awards, by the councilman of Social Policy Mariana Gómez, member of Social Services and technicians.

The winners were, with the 1 st prize Rlaid A.

Niola College of San Francisco, the second prize went to José Manuel Guardiola Abarca, Miguel Hernández College student and the third prize went to Francisco José Méndez also the Colegio Miguel Hernández.

Children have received vouchers for winning educational materials, 100, 75 and 50 euros, respectively, and also delivered three runners-up were worth 25 euros.

Mariana Gómez stated that "it is important to educate younger children in the prevention of drug to acquire healthy habits."
